- Guppies can live up to 5 years old, but it is most common for them to live from 1-3 years old. Not neccesarly from when they are born, but the time from when you buy them
- No two guppies are exactly alike
- There scientific name is Poecilia reticulata
- They are Omnivores

- One of the best medicine for your guppies is 1 teaspoon of salt per gallon
- A new speices of guppy is made every day (meaning colors and patterns)

No their not!, Their is others that give live birth, Like the platy and molly to name a few!
there’s like three other fish that have live birth I find it easier than dealing with the eggs because I am a guppy breeder.
i breed guppys!! and another fact is that they can hold there babbies in if moved dering birth. ilove guppys!

i have 20 guppies… i got a from my teacher who has at least 50 in her 10 gallon tank… i have lots of plants and 2 silver hatchet fish. i also have 1 green cory catfish. ( all in a 20g tank) i have another tank but it has mosquito fish a dragon fish and a female betta. ive also got an extra 10g tank

if you see the black or brown spot under there tail the bigger and darker it gests the sooner they will give birth to live fry!

lucky I have 32 including the ones me and my friends breed!
I have 2 guppies in my tank just that look like they have 2 tails. But when you look closer the tail is normal just the outsides are blue and red and inbetween kind of see through. Looks Great!

What I like most about guppies is the fact that you don’t need a huge fish aquarium like other cichlid fish and such. You can sort of just ride the “small tank” setup for a long time and not have to invest so much time and money.
